JOB DESCRIPTION:
The City of Vernon is hiring a Real Estate Land Agent to support capital projects, housing, and infrastructure. Reporting to the Manager of Economic Development & Partnerships, this role handles land acquisitions, negotiations, and real estate transactions across departments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Acquire land and rights-of-way for City projects

• Support leasing, sales, and land strategy

• Coordinate with consultants and internal teams

• Assist with property management and public land use

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Diploma in Real Estate, Urban Land Economics, or equivalent

• 2+ years of experience in land or municipal real estate

• IRWA, AACI, or RIBC affiliation preferred

• Valid BC Class 5 driver’s license
